“ I want to start by saying I'm a local resident and Sport of Kings or Sportos as we call it, is a great place. In fact, it's on our list of places we prefer. The service is always wonderful, parking is good, prices are great and they have a nice, relaxed atmosphere. However, when we went in on Valentine's Day, I decided to try something different. I have a habit of getting the same things over and over when I find dishes I like a lot. So, I tried the 8oz steak with onions and mushroom. It wasn't bad or anything. In fact, I finished it. The issue I had was the steak was bland. No seasoning on it. Some people may enjoy it that way. I however, like a lot of flavor. The onions were just fried diced onions like what's on cheeseburger. Other places I've gotten steak the onions are sliced and sauteed along with the mushrooms. The mushrooms appeared to be and tasted like canned mushrooms. As far as I could tell they didn't seem to be fried with the onions. They seemed like they were warmed up separate and put with the steak. As a result, the onions and mushrooms were bland as well. I ordered fries as my side and as always, the fries were amazing! As I stated previously, I like a lot of flavor. Others may not or can't eat food with seasonings so the steak along with the onions and mushrooms might be perfect for them. We will definitely be back as there are plenty of options - breakfast, lunch, dinner and of course dessert options (I took home peanut butter pie. So yummy!) that we enjoy. Sportos is a wonderful hometown diner with great prices and great food. It's definitely a better option than all the fast-food places Batavia is littered with. Stop in. You'll really enjoy yourself! ”

“ My family has frequented thos Batavia staple many a time over the years and have never once left hungery or disappointed. We usually visit for breakfast and lunch. My go to for breakfast is the eggs, bacon, toast, and the home fried potatoes. A perfect way to start the day with some coffee and OJ. My favorite lunch item is the buffalo chicken soup. A bowl of this spicy delight is the perfect complement to one of their burgers. “ Had a pretty solid breakfast here while visiting my sister! Their corned beef hash was delicious, and they surprised us by making an adorable puppy-looking pancake for my niece! All of the food came out quickly. A simple, good family restaurant. I wish I had gotten to try their cheesy casserole, but they were all out, so hopefully next time! ”
